Reminder: Feministe Portland Meet-Up TONIGHT!

We had a great time at the Seattle meet-up — thanks to everyone for coming out! I hope you had as much fun as I did. Now it’s Portland’s turn:

What: Feministe Portland Meet-Up
Who: Jill, Little Light, Jill’s family, and whoever else can make it!
When: Dec. 30th, 9pm
Where: Rontom’s, on E 6th and Burnside, right on the east side of the Burnside Bridge. The name isn’t on the outside of the bar, but it’s right on the corner of Burnside and 6th and there’s a picture of a man with a propeller backpack above the door.
Why: Because you love Feministe and want to party Portland-style.

  2. Y’know, Harrison, you could organize one yourself…just get local people together for drinks and feminism and a good time? If you plan enough in advance, or get enough people into it, you might be able to lure a blogger to join in. And if you can’t? Well, you’ll still have a great party and make new friends. This is a good crowd, after all, right? I know Jill wasn’t the only person I enjoyed hanging out with at the Portland meet-up, much as she’s an utter gem.
