About Chally

Chally's hair

Chally is one of those scary, scary feminists you’ve heard about. In addition to her work at Feministe and her own blog, Zero at the Bone, her writing has appeared in such publications as Bitch Magazine, Global Comment, The Guardian, FWD/Forward, Scarleteen, and various newspapers, magazines and blogs.

A drama school grad for reasons still unclear to her, she’s now pursuing an arts degree, double majoring in history and English. When she’s not studying or writing, she’s probably watching Doctor Who, eating cake, reading feminist science fiction (she recommends Ursula K. Le Guin and James Tiptree, Jr.), or simply trying to negotiate this world as a non-white disabled woman.

Chally lives in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, where she spends too much time (if such a possibility exists) with her head in one novel or another. Her locked account on Twitter is @ChallyZatB and her public one is @ChallyWrites. Send your mail to chally [dot] zeroatthebone [at] gmail [dot] com.
