About Cara

Cara Kulwicki a U.S. feminist writer. She is the founder and executive editor of The Curvature. Her writing has appeared at the Guardian’s Comment Is Free, Global Comment, and many, many blogs. In addition to being all over the web, she was a contributor to the 2009 anthology Yes Means Yes! Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape. She lives in Western NY with her Australian husband and their spoiled cat.

Cara enjoys reading, blogging, record collecting, poking gentle fun at Paul McCartney, hanging out with her husband and cat, and spending unhealthy amounts of time on the internet. Her favorite books are too many to list, her attention span is too short for most movies besides The Temptations, she adored LOST but hated most of the last season, and she’s that obnoxious person who can always be heard saying “this sounds so much better on vinyl.” She really, really loves presents. Besides The Temptations, musically Cara absolutely adores The Beatles and believes that you can tell a lot about a person based on which Beatle is their favorite. She’s a Yoko person. But John was pretty cool, too.
