About Jill

Jill is a 20-something Seattle native turned New Yorker. She holds a J.D. and a B.A. from New York University. Currently she works as a lawyer in Manhattan and hangs her wallpaper in Brooklyn.

Jill has also written for Yale Journal of Law and Feminism, the Guardian, the Huffington Post, Alternet, Women’s eNews, the NYU School of Law Alumni Magazine, and Ms. JD. She was an editor for AlterNet’s Reproductive Justice and Gender section, the Washington Square News, the New York University Review of Law and Social Change, and the NYU School of Law Alumni Magazine.

Her first contribution to a feminist anthology, Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and a World Without Rape, is out now.

She probably would not survive without travel, Burt’s Beeswax chapstick, tacos, red wine and bourbon. Someday she will live in Paris. Or maybe Berlin. She accepts bribes.
