“All the feminist movement needed to do was bring on someone who had the balls to do something about this glass ceiling business”

Seriously.

(The article is perfect. I am dying laughing. Go read it).

Thanks to Brent for the link.

  1. I really do not know what the article was all about. Is it really true that feminists have, after all these years of men hating cliches, now appointed a man to give them a direction and a proper plan of action.Every body knows that feminism has gone haywire and feminists are busy promoting ideas that they themselves do not believe in and these ideas have not helped women very much in the long run. Most of their ideas are now being openly challenged and severely criticised. But it is totally different cup of coffee to hear that feminists are employing men to fight for them. What a turn of events!!!!!

  2. Feminists have to change their own mindsets. They are badly trapped in their own warped up world and are very prone to seeing things from their coloured glasses. As a result of such highly emotional and biased responses, we are increasingly seeing feminists being sexiest and displaying double standards, which is doing tremendous harm to their own image. It cannot be denied that their image had definitely taken a beating and their views are being increasingly criticised.
I do not know whether appointing a man to decide on some policy matters will help or not. They have to desperately reanalyse their own mind sets.

  3. Finally! A Nice Guy (TM) is going to help us poor, disorganized women who don’t have the go getterness to get our rights! Why didn’t we ask men to hold open the door for us sooner? It seems so easy….

Colbert must be excited to see this turn of events! 😀

    /sarcasm

That was funny times. I needed a good laugh.

  4. I was so going to e-mail a link to feministe@hotmail but I’m happy to see you folks beat me to it. This last part is hysterical:

Although he has not hinted at any future projects after all forms of gender discrimination are a thing of the past, McGowan has vehemently denied rumors that he will leave the feminist movement to head up the struggle for gay rights.

“The wife would kill me if I took on any more hours,” McGowan said. “I’m sure those fellows know how that goes.”

It’s so nice when someone actually knows how to make satire work, unlike the driveway-gravel stupid, university newspaper writers who frequently grace us with their terrible sniveling.
