food brings community August 5, 2007 Guest: A.H.M.K. i apologize for missing several days of blogging. unfortunately i couldn’t make time to get online as much as i would like this week. i appreciate the feedback from folks who commented. thanks to feministe for inviting me to blog. i photograph many meals – i’ll leave you with a few of the most recent.
That looks so yummy, especially the tray of all the little sauces. And yes, food does bring community.
It certainly does- one thing I miss about city life was access to foods from around the world, via the friendships of neighbors and coworkers. Working the 3rd/graveyard shift in a large hospital, we often brought in dishes and shared- I now love Indian and Greek food and miss both terribly, as well as my friends.
