NO could have had it worse, but it is still bad. The Superdome has two holes in it but it isn’t that bad from what the news reports are giving. Seems Mississippi was hit with more force, the storm took a right before it made landfall, actually some news agencies are saying that it went backward for a bit then moved forward. People in shelters around the Lafayette area are already running out of food and other items.
i’m down here in miami, we didn’t even know it would hit us. nothing compared to what it’s doin up in louisiana! but we were without electricity for 5 days. not too fun in the 90+ degree weather we have here. A big BE SAFE to anyone in new orleans!!!! Get a hold of some ice if you can! And be careful of the downed powerlines. I think 4 people died here b/c of that. Take Care.
