Live-Blogging the Debate Tonight

We’ll be live-blogging the Presidential debate tonight at 9pm EST. We’re using software that allows you all to comment and participate in the live-blog with us, so we hope you’ll tune in to Feministe and C-SPAN at the same time and be a part of our big ol’ snark-fest.

See you tonight!

(And remember, you can also find Feministe on Twitter. And Feministe bloggers Holly and Jack will be liveblogging over at Jack’s place with a bunch of other awesome folks, so check that out as well).

  1. I go to Hofstra (and didn’t get a ticket to the debate, grr) and I’m torn between sitting here in my room like a loser and joining in the snark, and going to one of the school-sponsored events and sitting in some minigym full of monitors listening to the people around me say stupid shit. Something like 6800 people entered the ticket lottery, and they only have like 200 to give out, and now that we all know we’re not going it’d be kind of nice if all these security people and lame TV reporters disappeared so it didn’t take three weeks to walk across campus. It’s just so irritating that the candidates are going to be right there and instead of going and watching them in person we all have to skulk off to a TV somewhere and wallow in our cynicism like we did the last two times. I want to be in the room, dammit!

    …and we’re done here.
