Tuesday Travel Blogging – Puerto Rico

Spring break is over, which means that I’m back in school and back to Feministe. I spent most of last week in Puerto Rico, which was lovely and relaxing — and now it’s back to the grind. A million thanks to Anne for her awesome guest-blogging. Full-time blogging on my part should resume tonight.

The full set of PR pictures is here, and choice shots are below the fold. Enjoy!

  1. Old San Juan was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Love those pastel-colored buildings.

  2. Those are great pictures, but I think it’s clear that a bunch of us want to know the pressing question: how’d you like AA? =P

Ha — I loved AA! I was only there for a few days, but we had a great time. I went to Ashley’s and was very satisfied — the beers were fantastic. But my absolute favorite was Zingerman’s Road House — I nearly died over the goat cheese mac ‘n cheese. Mmmmm…

  4. yay my homeland (till I was three, but whatever). old san juan is one of my favorite places in the world. my mom lived there for a while, and i’d say i was jealous of her except there’s no central air conditioning. but it is so beautiful. did you have a chance to see el morro?

  5. You just made me nostalgic. I was born on the island and lived there until eight years ago. I have not been back since 2005. I used to work at the book store in San José Street. Working in Old San Juan is one of my fondest memories.
