Shouldn’t the real “note to self” be to remember to wear something under the billowy, peasantesque skirt while walking over subway grates? Just sayin’… 🙂
Yikes!!! My only accidental brush like this (SO FAR) was years ago in a Chesapeake boatyard when we lived on our sailboat. Hot day and we were cleaning the boat, so I was wearing a bikini top and old, worn cutoffs. (kinda Daisy Duke-ish, but practical and varnish/paint-stained) Had to go ashore to fetch something- as I was walking along the dock, the clip in the back of the bikini top suddenly snapped, popping out the girls! Only one guy saw (he was cleaning his own boat about 10 feet away)- he kindly didn’t remark and turned his head as I made my way back to our boat and below deck to get a T shirt. I later saw his GF and as she was wearing practically the same outfit, told her the story- she got a kick out of it and agreed her guy was pretty nice.
It’s like the famous quote, famously amended by Oscar Wilde: A wise woman never shows what’s under her skirt…unintentionally.
