  1. Hey, it’s never abusing a link to send other bloggers traffic. If you don’t want discussion occurring here (potentially overshadowing what’s going on already over there), just disable comments to this post.

    I’ve had to do that myself on occasion, but I’m on Movable Type; I’m not sure what you do to kill ’em in WordPress. I assume it’s possible?

    Well, it would be if I were all, “Yoink!” I don’t care much about traffic; my interest is in having a lively discussion. It feels like stealing to get one out of someone else’s essay, you know? Particularly if I don’t feel like writing a response.
