So, it was my birthday two months ago October 9, 2009 Jill And yet none of you readers have sent me a micro-pig. What’s going on? Are you waiting for Christmas?
I don’t get it. They don’t sound any smaller than the pot-bellied pigs that were popular in the lat 80s/early 90s.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/6292227/Have-we-lost-the-art-of-dressing-up.html I saw this story off to the side on that link about how joan collins has decided that british women are frumpy and don’t spend enough time on their appearance these days.
In the unlikely event that any micro pigs make appearances at my birthday, I will be sure to come here to adopt them out. Hopefully, none of my friends or family dislike me enough to make that necessary.
I’m pretty sure that in the case of a house fire, a micro-pig would have the werewithal to save me whereas my four cats would not. I am also sure that in the case of extreme starvation my micro-pig would also be more delicious than any of my four cats. This says loads about me that I’m unwilling to explore.
Although I have to admit those pigs are fucking cute, I find the breeding of animals, particularly solely for the pleasure of humans, pretty sickening. The oppression of women is directly paralleled by the oppression of animals. Are so-called feminist ignoring that these days?
