FNTT Season 5 Round 2, the All Up In Your Blog, Breakin’ Your Feminist Ideology episode

More Feministe’s Next Top Troll, Round 2. Troll comments below the fold. Vote for your Round 2 favorite.

joyce g, who leaves this series of comments (posted here in order) and signs each of them with her first and last name. I’ve deleted the last name. From Liveblogging WAM: Afternoon Session:

you talk about the conflict between second and third wave feminism . can you please explain what it is about .

i received an email saying I already had asked for clarification about differences between second and third wave feminism. I had not. perhaps someone else did.
also, what other issues besides prochoice should feminists advocate. the author only derides the prochoice emphasis without offering any alternatiive. Joyce G.

my two attempts at sending messages were turned back saying “you have already said that” which I had not. something is wrong with this picture. Joyce G.

I did not say your comment is awaiting moderation. this entire operation seems suspect. joyce g.

irene, from Obama to Rescind HHS “Conscience” Rule

So!!! Let me get this straight. If a kosher or halal food processing plant that got some federal start up money to start their business, they must provide pork to me if I demand it or they must absolutely refer me to a kosher or halal food processing plant that will provide pork for me. I do not believe Jewish or muslim organizations will allow that! The Nazis tried to force people’s consciences, and well, it didn’t bode well in history.

courage the cowardly dog:

Obviously, my remarks were too logical, too coherent and too unassailable to post because it they had been posted they would served as the intellectual nuclear bomb to feminist ideology.

  1. Courage, if only because “the intellectual nuclear bomb to feminist ideology” wins Awesome Internet Phrase of the Week.

  2. I voted for Courage, because if only his comment had been posted, surely we all would have seen the horrible error of our ways. 🙂

  3. Irene wins because although I have a doctorate in history, I was unaware of the the Conscience Forcing Kosher Pig Abbatoirs set up in the Nazi Era. (Consulting some World War Two texts, stat!)

  4. I voted for both courage and joyce in previous rounds, but I still have to stick with joyce’s mounting paranoia, even though CTCD’s nuclear reference was pretty priceless.

  5. Rats, I voted for all three of these in previous rounds. It was really a tough call between “this entire operation seems suspect” and the (sadly undefined) “nuclear bomb to feminist ideology,” but I had to go with Joyce.

  6. I think Courage is the clear winner here, both for the “I-have-read-too-many-Ayn-Rand-novels-and-my-brain-vomits-them-out-on-you-now” style and the fact that s/he possesses THE NUCLEAR OPTION in feminist debate! The Cold (Blog) War has begun!

  7. Irene, Irene, Irene. Just because they tiein so many falsehoods, as I’ve said before I’m a sucker for classic lies and distortions. So when someone talks about reasons to support the conscience rule and ties in kosher and halal stores and Nazis, I am so game. That’s a pro.

  8. What, no love for Irene? I love “The Nazis tried to force people’s consciences, and well, it didn’t bode well in history.” Restraint is the hallmark of civilization…unless of course it means you totally missed the point.

  9. Irene.

Joyce is just pathetic and makes me feel pity for her rather than that I’ve been trolled. CtCD is so over-the-top that there’s no telling what he/she/it really believes; the troll is too obvious to be effective. Irene strikes the right balance between clueless true believer and troll. Even though Irene also comes across as over-the-top I can believe that she thinks she’s being serious.

  10. On a side note, I really, really, reaaaallllly (Dr.Cox impression) want to know what CtCD unposted comment was. Pleasssssssseeeeee. If there is any way to post it at all. This is tormenting me. I am like a moth drawn to what will apparently be my own destruction (or at least the destruction of my feminist beliefs).

  11. Courage, for making me wonder what the intellectual nuclear option that could bring down feminism would actually entail

  12. @Tracey: I totally agree. However, we should all remember that you can’t hug a child with nuclear blog comments.

  13. I badly want to know what courage’s logical, coherent, unassailable nuclear bomb of a comment actually was. I’m voting for him in the hopes of finding out one day. I bet it rocks my world.

  14. I was going to go w/ Irene, but on second read, my vote is for courage.

(and where did you find that uber-awesome feminazi dress-up doll?? i want one!)

  15. Hmm, I may be getting immune to the who Nazis argument. Ho hum, Godwin again?

I had to go with Courage’s delusional ego.
