Rain and Run

Mother Nature has finally made up her mind for the first time this week after simultaneous sun and rain, threatening to open up the sky and pour heaven’s wrath down on us.

It’s raining. Hard. Which makes it perfect for a run. I’m strapping on the sneakers and the headphones, heading to the track at the high school one block over, and enjoying a good run in the rain.

If I am struck down by lightning, let it be known that there is a god and she is punishing me for all the horrible things I said about my college peers last night out on the town.

  1. It finally gave in and started to rain here as well. The garden is joyous. The cats, less so, since it means they can’t go outside.

  2. Well, apparently you didn’t get struck down by lightning. So is there a God? And just what awful things did you say about your college peers? Hmmm??
