Friday Dog Blogging

FerrisD

It’s been almost 90 degrees in Seattle, and Ferris has been my best tanning buddy. I sit outside and read (Tom Friedman’s “The World is Flat,” if anyone is interested) and he goes back and forth between basking in the sun, relaxing in the shade under my chair, and chasing his ball around the yard. He’s a cute boy.

  1. I’m tempted to leap back into the world of political literature with Friedman’s book. Ever since the election I’ve refused to read political books if only because everything I read frustrated (and angered) me. For the past three months I’ve been reading the original Ian Fleming James Bond books. I’ve torn through seven (out of 14) of them and they’re simply great.

But, Friedman’s tome is calling my name.
