Debate Watch III

UPDATE: Live blog/live chat was a success. Sorry I missed it (and dear Time Warner: Fuck you). Thanks to Ryan and Lauren for hosting. Look for this during the next debate.

  1. As predicted, it was boring as shit. Except for a few good lines, namely:

1: “American blood” being America’s greatest asset.
2: Referring to Barack Obama as “that one”. In context it was condescending and disrespectful, but semi-ut-of-context it will play as egregious (and probably vaguely racist).

Hopefully Bob Schieffer lets them slug it out. And that they work up some fresh talking points.

  2. “For anyone keeping score, CNN is projecting 54 percent of voters think Obama won and 30 percent say McCain won it.”

not even the fox news pundits were able to spin this in mccain’s favor. heck the editor of the weekly standard said that he was disappointed.

oddly enough, 80-something percent of fox news viewers still said mccain won!

my god, that just highlights the disconnect in this country like nothing else.

  3. I have to have more beer for next time… THE FINAL COUNDOWN!!!

NA NA NA NA…. NA NA NA NA NA!!!

I think I will actually miss the debates when they are gone… the chats are too funny. 🙂

  4. And I screwed up my link. I lose an internet point. Sigh… just google Europe and Final Countdown. 🙁

  5. We could go the MST3K and live-blog shitty movies. Anyone?

    Anyone?

Although, the election. That could be an epic live-bloggage.
