Feministe Feed March 22, 2005 Lauren The choice feed for RSS feeders appears to be: http://www.feministe.us/blog/feed/atom/. This was a public service announcement.
Now comes a stupid question from/for the technologically impaired: What exactly is an RSS feed, and why do people use it?
Well, when you’re reading 200 or so blogs or news outlets a day (like I am, because I’m psychotic), RSS feeds come in quite handy. You can get all the information from these multiple feeds sent to one easily nagivable space. An encoded feed looks like this: example. When you set up an account , you plug in the link to the feed and it comes up looking something like the Micorsoft Outlook interface. I use Bloglines.

Hallucinating? No. But you do learn speed-reading quite effectively. Luckily everyone doesn’t post every day.
