Burnt on Outrage March 13, 2005 Lauren When burnt out on politics and righteous outrage, blog about one’s domestic projects. The Heavenly Blue morning glories and Bloody Butcher tomatoes are coming along nicely. Anyone else sense a dichotomy amongst these seedlings?
I’ll take 2 oz of the “blue morning glories.” Please use the Cedar Park P.O. Box, no consecutive serial numbers on the bills, etc., etc.
Apparently, ingestion of the morning glory seeds has a hallucinogenic effect. There was even a warning symbol on the packet – why not some directions?
re: the dichotomy – are you referring to their different rates of growth? morning glories tend to grow faster than tomatoes – this is normal. no worries. re: warning symbol – the symbol is there because the seed company has probably sprayed the seeds with something nasty to dissuade desperate psychonauts from gobbling them down. they contain LSA (D-lysergic acid amide) which is an analog of LSD. the Zapotecs used to use them ritually… re: directions – ain’t worth it. trust me.
