  1. You know, I read this earlier — right after you posted it, in fact — and was at a loss for words.

    I feel completely helpless.
    I mean, with every other issue – or most of them, at least – there is someone I can point a finger at, someone’s face I can get in, to try to make some waves for Progress, for Women’s Rights or Human Rights.

    But here, I just feel useless. How can we help these women??

    Give us some direction.

  2. This is really heartbreaking. As with the first commenter, I am also at a loss for words.

    The ones who really could make an impact in this situation are mostly the very nations which plunged Congo and other parts of Africa into the very problems which are causing the wars, violence, and poverty in the present.
