I have been looking for a home for all of my beloved Mom’s (colonel’s wife) military history books, a vast collection. I have been unwilling to consign them to recycling. I need a young Steve Gilliard to send them to.
Didn’t see this until after I posted… hope you don’t mind the repeat. Steve will be very missed. Not at all–yours is much more extensive. I didn’t see Jane’s obit, but it’s wonderful.
I got Jen’s email last night, but I just couldn’t post anything. I got to know Steve a little over the past year, and I saw Jen last week. It’s not unexpected, since the news of his condition was never good, but it’s still a blow nonetheless.
