I thought I was the only one to listen to the unpopular Shakira songs just to understand the Spanish! Especially “Estoy Aqui”. I think I sang some of the songs for a year until I got all the words, not to mention phrases. Now when my friends play English version Shakira songs, I get very confused.

The a capella group at my women’s college in undergrad performed this Shakira song. It was really amazing- a woman from Ecuador was the lead vocalist, andt hey always performed at tempo- or faster!
