  1. Wow. I never thought the “blame the victim” would apply to men but I see they will use any tactic necessary to absolve themselves of all wrong doing. And I love how YouTube becomes the main culprit as well as these crazy kids’ pop culture and yet he bashes the idea that the internet is the “boogeyman”. Dear god, it amazes me how they continue to bend reality for the sake of their own mental health because if they didn’t they’d probably go insane. This guy’s got nothing on Neo.

  2. This guy probably thinks girls who wear short skirts are asking to be raped, too. What a fucking moron. How on earth can he think it’s okay to go on television and say shit like that?

  3. It’s hard to remain pure if you go to a worldly place like Washington, D.C. A naive God-fearing man from good parts of Florida can be corrupted without hardly knowing it’s happening by the wiles of these sultry underage pages and lured into lurid Instant Message sessions.

    *snerk* Schadenfreude at its best.

  4. When this first broke, I made the argument that since this was a gay legislator with an underage boy, everyone happily jumped on the “gay pervert pedophile” angle because the media/Right Wing really likes the “gay pervert pedophile” angle. I figured that if it were a heterosexual congressman and a teenage girl, there’d be condemnation, but tempered with words like ‘jailbait’ and ‘cocktease.’ Whether that would be homophobia or sexism I can’t tell – I suppose both.

So the fact that that canard gets trotted out regarding these boys it almost (but obviously not really) encouraging.

  5. If a Republican was caught screwing hogs, these folks would say the sows wiggled their teats provocatively.
