  1. That’s funny, cause I was just thinking the other day how the rapture kidz ignore the fact that if Bush resembles any figure from Revelation, it’s pretty much the antichrist.

  2. I’ve read too many earnest assertions that GWB is acting as God’s agent here on earth to doubt this for a second.

Wow. I think I’ve been screening out that crap. There really comes a point when you have to start ignoring it, otherwise, you begin to go insane.

    My threshold is low…

  3. mostly i wonder why people of such a religious nature don’t heed the ‘the meek will inherrit the earth’ beattitude

it could be a joke, but then again, we have people thanking God for IEDs and i doubt that one church is alone in that lunacy

  4. Hee. That book cover. I don’t have a camera, but if I did, I’d do an I Crush Your Head shot.

  5. I have seen some foolish things in my time, and this is right up there near the top. And lying about the Bible is stupid because it is so easy to check.

This site contain the following Bible quotation:

“We must learn to respect one another as well as love each other. We all inhabit the same planet, and we are our brother’s keeper..” JOHN 12:34

The only problem is that in the St. James version John 12:34 is as follows:

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

  6. Kaethe, we do still use “Honorable” for judges, but not for presidents.

They should have gone with the Most Reverend since they were so busy fellat….er showing such esteem for the Great Decider.
