Well, it’s #NotAllComicArtists, but there’s a strong cadre of impossible anatomy artists whose fanbois keep on saying how much better they understand female anatomy than those critics pointing out that there’s no room for organs inside that teeny tiny corkscrewed waist so is that why their female characters need such huge breasts (to contain the missing organs)?

      But there are more and more artists drawing their comic superheroines with more realistically athletic bodies and more practical costumes. The editors at some comics publishing houses are still greenlighting some of the impossible anatomy art because they’re convinced that’s what they need to do, but there have been some positive changes in recent years.
