  1. Lauren, true. I like how he kinda pulls back when he kicks the bed. He’s really, really pissed, but he wouldn’t want to hurt his foot!

    Jill,

Isn’t the problem how far away the 26th St dorm is from the main campus? Or is the building itself just that horrible?

  2. It’s both. 26th street is really far away, in a crappy, boring neighborhood, not near any subway lines, and the dorm itself is like a prison. It’s also mostly dental graduate students, so there’s really no social life, either. I’ve heard of people transferring after they got put in 26th street. It really does suck. But anger is funny.

  3. Sounds a bit like Bursley Hall at the University of Michigan. It’s quiet and a reasonably pleasant facility, but it’s so far away from the main drag of campus life that many students consider it equivalent to rooming in Siberia.

  4. oh my god, that was beautiful. it brought me right back to freshman year in Weinstein. all that delicious cinderblock…

  5. Oh Weinstein… thank God I didn’t have to live there freshman year. I did, however, spend an entire summer living there when I was a freshman orientation leader. It was rough.

  6. Oh, boo-hoo. I went from Britney my frosh year to Queens my Sophomore year. At least Weinstein was central. 🙂

It got worse. I spent my Junior and Senior year in Jersey. Not Hoboken.

  7. I got alla you beat.

My freshman dorm was across from a cowfield, and my sophomore dorm had to be torn down, it was leaking and crumbling so bad.
