Christmas Dog Blogging

In my absense, little Ferris has gotten a litte fat — and he wasn’t particularly small-boned to begin with. Check out this beast, here with my sister:

And here, not being particularly cute, but I think he’s trying:

More to come later, if he cooperates and acts as adorable as he’s capable of being.

  1. Perhaps it’s not that your dog is too big as much as the fact that your sister is too small.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a joyful secular humanist holiday. Here’s to the next year.

  2. Your Ferris reminds me of my Charlie, only Ferris is much larger. Charlie turns 2 years old in February, and he has the same long nose your dog does. My other Westie, Abbie, is smaller and daintier, with a shorter muzzle.

They are rescues, and I love them dearly. Westies are wonderful dogs, although they are also accomplished terrierists, especially to squirrels and other varmints.

  3. Aw, what a cutie! I rescued a Westie a couple of years ago (he was abandoned outside my building, probably by his owner’s caretaker — we have a lot of old folks in the neighborhood) but couldn’t keep him. I brought him to a shelter and he was snapped up almost immediately.
