   I’ve been accepted for a 3-month residency in San Francisco in mid 2011 to work on performance projects & internships that have much to do with what I bring up in the Racialicious article: looking at gender, sexuality, love, and relationships as a female queer migrant minority.     William Siewiert will need huge tax dollars for his government care now that his health is ruined. When he needed a modestly priced pill it was unaffordable, insurance out of reach, no doctor to help. The suffering he must have endured as his kidneys slowly failed is unimaginable.

    I tried to tease apart the differences between libido and arousal in connection with a product called Zestra that claims to enhance sex for women. I’m still waiting to hear from anyone who has actually tried it!

    In a couple of seasonal posts for those of you who celebrate Christmas, I got a laugh out of a German game that features a pooping dachshund, and I reflected on how to bring the Santa myth in for a gentle landing – which luckily worked out well for my kids. (Actually, the dachshund game is amusing no matter what you celebrate.)

    I ended the first week and began the second week of Stirring my Spiritual Waters. In doing so, I found myself writing my way through so many feelings and literally stirring stuff up and being able to write through my past and into a different future. It has truly been a blessing in my life and I look forward to the next 7 weeks of this specific journey.

38. After six months’ hiatus, I’ve started blogging again. This week I wrote about consent and the normalization of boundary violations in the wake of the Assange case and a recent anti-rape campaign, and challenged my own transphobia when it comes to ostensibly feminist organizations that refuse to include trans women. It’s great to be writing again, and hopefully there will be much more to come.
