  1. Ms. B, the readership appears to be thin on Britons altogether, and I’m disappointed to see no Scots at all (though the Scottish diaspora is, of course, well represented).

  2. Mokin:

Allow me to offer a pre-emptive welcome to Portland. (Even though I live in a suburb now for the first time since college, I consider myself a Portlander through and through…)

  3. Apparently, Cape Town, SAfrica, is just as invalid. I really tried, Lauren. But the Dark Continent remains overlooked. Sigh. Colonialism rules.

  4. Suezboo:

You click on outside of US and then you can use a drop down thing to choose your city. For some reason they are listed twice (I am listed as Cairo (Cairo) Egypt, e.g.)

Please try again because it is lonely being the only representative of Africa. 🙂

  5. What Anna said. I just tried it: if you start typing “Cape-“, you’ll have “Cape Town (Western Cape), South Africa” appearing in the drop-down menu.

  6. Man, I really thought there’d be more people from the Boston area. I thought we were all interwebby around here. Do we not have MIT? Do we not have the Berkman Center? I mean, shit, is there no one from Wellesley reading Feministe? I am a lone voice in the wilderness.

Well, not a voice, I guess, since I’m just reading. A lone pair of eyeballs.

  7. Ooooh-kaaaay. I *though* I did that right, but never saw a map. I have odd gaps in my Internet savvy, though. Apparently I am JUST at the edge of the age group where all of this stuff makes intuitive sense….

Just in case I goofed — Minneapolis, MN. And not a suburb, either. South Minneapolis proper, Longfellow neighborhood.
