Bend It Like Peek Peek

A bit of cat fandom on my end. Every time I see this cat’s photostream I laugh out loud.

Peek Peek is surly, fluffy, and can’t possibly be a real animal. I mean, look at him. In this picture, he’s sort of melting into the sofa like a Hershey’s kiss.

This definitely inspires me to find a persian sometime in the future. With a face like that, what’s not to love (or laugh at)?

More Friday Cat Blogging: Because my house is weird.

Whenever anyone gets in the shower, Doug and Pablo convene outside the door for some naked human watching. The food bowl also happens to be nearby for refreshments.

Tonight, as I showered before going out, naked human watching time turned into a full on brawl. When I got out of the shower, Doug was eating one of Pablo’s fight-detached dreadlocks.

  1. Awesome. I like the observation that it’s not certain he’s a cat, but that instead his name is actually his species. Such personality! He looks, in many of those shots, like he could just go bipedal at will like some kind of (improved) Ewok/Hoka sort of thingy.

    Cute.

  2. Ever see that movie “Cats & Dogs?” That cat is like the lost blond twin of Mr Tinkles! I expect him any moment to say, “At what point did you forget WE’RE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD?”
