Redesign

Out of boredom and blogging uninspiration, I brought back one of my old favorite images. Here’s to the new redesign. If you notice any quirks, let me know.

Also, because I’m selfish and now have a decent internet connection, I brought back category and date archives along with my Flickr badge. Now if I can only convince Jill to get one…

  1. LOL, nice look. At first I thought I accidently landed on an NRA site, with the child playing with a firearm picture… 😉

  2. The hair is still brown, albeit a much lighter brown. At least I know I’m not the only one who associates avatars with bloggers.

    🙂

  3. I’m viewing it on Safari (mac OSX) and the formatting is all messed up. Boxes and colors and text in all the wrong places. This whole comment page is right justified (except for the header). Stuff like that.

Just thought you’d like to know.

    I like the picture though. : )

  4. It’s intended to be a play on the “militant feminist” bullshit.

I don’t know, I rather get associations to Red Dawn, and the whole gun-touting US obsession with violence.

  5. Yeah–I am not sure I like the cavalier attitude toward children and guns. Cute little blond girl, reminds me of youas a child; but can we not find some other feminist issue?????????

  6. Oh it is beautiful!! I love the redesign. As for the Flickr thing, I will definitely get one once I’m back online with some regularity. But since I’m a complete idiot when it comes to anything computer-related, I will probably be emailing you to ask you how I do it…

  7. Looks great. A reader request: can you include the attribution (“Lauren” or “Jill”) on the individual post pages, as well as on the main page? I usually read by clicking forward through the “next” links. (Apologies if I’m being incoherent.)
