Spare Me

One more thing to add to the disturbing product poll.

The Egg Babies are individually hand sculpted in polymer clay. The babies range in size from 2 to 5 inches. The eggshell underscores the fragility of the life of a baby in the womb.

Fetuses aren’t made in the womb, they come from eggs. So fragile, we are ordained by God to protect them!

  1. Hey, this would make a great tool for disinforming kids about the “birds and bees.” Yeah, not only did a stork bring you to your parents, but you came out of a freaking egg. And santa claus sat on you to keep you warm, but not in a pervy priest kind of way…

  2. First it was not so “Intelligent” design, now it’s Mother Goose babies. When will it end? I suppose if one called them fairy babies or Hobbit babies they might pass. . . . Ouch! I feel a migraine coming on.
Thanks. – Not for the headache, but for a truely delightful, informative Blog. I try to check in as often as I can.

  3. You know, Chris, “handball” means a lot of different things to different people. I wouldn’t throw that term around so lightly. 😉

  4. I looked at the website, and I couldn’t tell if she actually had any explicit political messages there. It’s true that babies, wombs, and eggs are really these days quite political, but do we know for sure that the artist intended this? She makes a lot of doll babies and children.
