What I’ve Been Doing

There was a point at which I made a considerable supplemental income playing touch-screen bar games. The winnings were often about $200 a month with a $20 expenditure.

Which really makes me wish I could make money playing this (unfortunately requires IE).

  1. I agree, Psychobabble’s great, but since I’m rarely social-feeling enough online to play games with other people, I don’t know that I’d call it the -best-. Just my opinion, though, y’know the whole “your mileage may vary” thing.

My current PopCap-based crack-like fix is Chuzzle Deluxe. As soon as I had the chance, I bought the full version, and I swear it’s going to give me carpal tunnel syndrome bad enough to require massive reconstructive surgery, I play it so much.

(And what’s this about it needing IE? *confused* I play the web-based stuff in Firefox all the time, never had a problem. Just had to set the popup-blocker to accept PopCap.)

  2. Great news! You can make money playing Bejeweled.

There is a great site called SkillJam where you can play Bejeweled and other mindless games of a similar nature for cash. You have to put down at least $10 and then it work like an arcade with “credits.” I think you have to have at least a $25 balance then to “cash out.”

I made considerable supplemental income playing touch-screen ATM games. Unfortunately my account only had 13 dollars, so it didn’t last very long. Ah, good memories.
