Amazing Feministe commenter Forrester has decided to match the first $1,000 of Feministe donations made to RAWA in solidarity with the women who took place in this march. UPDATE: As of 8am EST, only about 16 hours after this was originally posted, we’re already past the halfway point — at $535. I’ll be away from the computer for most of the day, but do keep those donations rolling in!
Also, I’ve emailed back a quick thank you to everyone who has sent me a receipt thus far. If you didn’t get one of those, it means that I didn’t get yours, so please send it again! And yes, to those who are wondering — it is okay to delete your address off of the receipt. Just leave the rest in tact, because I know quite well what they look like at this point.
