La Bella Vita

Hey, wanna see a whole bunch of pictures of Italy? Ok! (Warning: There are, indeed, a whole bunch of pictures after you click “more.” This may be exceptionally boring).

A narrow little street. So pretty.

The door to what used to be a church and is now a museum.

The whole thing.

And, finally, the view out my bedroom window.

  1. I would like even MORE pics!!

Looks like a wonderful, relaxing place. Is it commercialized to the point where you lose the local flavor?

  2. Two sidenotes:

According to my mom, my face looks sunburned and I should be wearing more sunscreen. My face is not sunburned at all. I am wearing sunscreen.

Also, I am not nearly as naked as I look. I just have the straps of my bathing suit down.

Funny, that’s exactly what I thought you did (or that you had a strapless bathing suit)…I guess it’s because I know enough women who do that in beach pictures. It’s uncanny.

It finally decided to get sunny out here, Jill, so I think I can get the mountain and the sound for you at some point.

  4. Great photos! I second the motion for more photos (if and when you’re so inclined)–and any travel stories you’d care to share.

Maybe it’s because I’m a boring old married guy, but I didn’t think you were sans clothing in the photo–I just assumed you were wearing a strapless swimsuit. Actually, my first thought at seeing the photo of you was, “Look at that smile! She must be having a terrific time!”
