roflmfao. System of a Down can have a weird effect on the average collegian. Interesting story (to me anyways): That song was actually one of the last songs played at my senior prom (2002). Almost everyone had left, so the DJ started taking requests, and one of my good friends asked if he had “Chop Suey”. He did, and so we had a mini-mosh in our tuxes and dresses. ‘Twas great.
Re: the fart. Ugh. I like bathroom humor. However, I didn’t find that too funny, more gross. Guess I’m old b/c I didn’t recognize the song in the college kids webcam lipsyncing, but the video was very entertaining!
Farting is the quintessential human ur-joke, of course, but I also busted a gut and a half over the metal boyz vid, and sent it to my rock’n’roll listserv, where I’m sure they will faint dead away because I never post anything even faintly music-related on that thing.
My BIL (who is 47) has a remote fart noise maker. You can put it under some unsuspecting person’s chair and trigger the fart noises from up to 30 feet away. Best. Toy. Ever.
