In defense of the sanctimonious women's studies set || First feminist blog on the internet

Vote! Vote! Vote!

The 2006 Weblog Awards

We’re out ahead of Stop the ACLU, but we need you to keep voting to keep it that way. Remember, you can vote once a day until Friday, so consider this a shameless plea to stop Stop the ACLU.

Bonus: they’re annoyed that some feminist blog is beating them.

So, I’m back.

Hi folks! I’m back. Miss me?

Many thanks for the fine job our guest-bloggers — La Lubu, Ilyka Damen, evil fizz, and Vanessa — have done in my absence. Fantastic work!

Even though I’m back, my blogging time is going to be severely curtailed, what with the recent crackdown on internet usage at work, even on breaks. Given that, I’m probably going to make some adjustments to the kind of blogging I do. More feature-type posts, fewer news-type posts. Mostly because I just won’t be able to keep up with the daily blog-reading necessary to get involved in keeping up. I have to have a life sometime, you know.

Glad to “see” you all again, at least the ones who haven’t decided that they’re never reading this blog again.

Blog Break

Seeing as how I have the threat of suit and the threat of outing hanging over my head right now, I’m going to be taking a break from the blogosphere. Thank you all so much for all the words of support and encouragement; I really, deeply appreciate knowing that you have my back.

I will keep you posted, though, if anything develops.

In the meantime, piny and Jill will be holding down the fort, joined by some guest bloggers I think you’ll enjoy reading.

Take care.

Wonky

The blog is being weird. Some troubleshooting performed and I think everything is okay. If you keep experiencing 500 errors or slow loading times, let me know in the comments.
