Old Mastheads

R@d@r wants to see some of my old mastheads. Here are some of my favorites.

The first two are from my old blogspot site, and the other three are from the MT incarnation. I’m still very fond of the first and debated on resurrecting it recently. I may also drag out the last one sometime in the future.

As you can see, I’ve gotten considerably better with Photoshop. One thing I have learned is to always save the old Photoshop workups. Even though I get tired of some of my mastheads, I frequently recall old ideas and work them into something new, as I did the current masthead. Same with the html and css files, especially as a reminder on how to fix certain quirks or reuse color schemes. You’ll find that I frequently reuse pictures and colors and that much of my design repeats itself. This is why.

  1. those are all very nice, without a doubt

but one of my faves was the pirate-gal one, with Anne Bonny on it… or was it Mary Read? anyways anyhoo, that was a good’un.
