So, what have you been up to? What would you rather be up to? What’s been awesome/awful?
Reading? Watching? Making? Meeting?
What has [insert awesome inspiration/fave fansquee/guilty pleasure/dastardly ne’er-do-well/threat to all civilised life on the planet du jour] been up to?

  1. This week
    – I got a cold (because for half a second I almost felt healthy)
    – I continued to kick ass with my stickK commitment, and still haven’t given any money to the NRA
    – Went to the dentist for a filling
    – Got 100% on my homework for my coding class
    – Finished a couple of books
    – Posted one YouTube video
    – Went on a crappy OK Cupid date, which will probably be my last, because I disabled my profile
    – Signed up for Meetup.com and joined a hiking group and a writing group
    – Got a badass new pair of hiking boots that I hope to have good and broken in before I go to New Zealand

    It’s been a busy week.

    1. Peggy,

Out of curiosity, are you at all interested in buying me a gram of molly?I would guess the answer is no, because it would violate your moral code to give someone you don’t know, drugs you are unsure are safe. Therefore, why not make that your forfeit instead of donating to the NRA. Either way you’d be doing something you find morally repugnant, but I’m throwing out a suggestion that I feel is less likely to lead to children being killed.

      1. Um, dude, the whole point is that having that NRA donation hanging over my head is pretty much going to guarantee that I’m not going to miss a week without posting. I may or may not have several posts written that I just have to copy and paste at the beginning of each week. 😉

I mean, I get your point, but then, I don’t think you get mine. This really will keep me motivated. Maybe you think less of me that that’s the type of thing that keeps me on track, but your opinion of me is none of my business.

However, next time I do this, if there is a next time, you can give me your email for your paypal account, and you won’t get the $10 every week that I succeed, instead of the NRA not getting it.

        Deal?

        1. Totally not serious…And Peggy, I get that the point is to make the forfeit as horrific as possible to keep you motivated….although there was some underlying truth as I had just left my cat at the animal hospital (he’s fine, I just didn’t know that at the time,) so I was probably subconsciously wishing for something to improve my mood.

  2. My HRT is going really well! I can see that the skin on my face is already softening, to the point that even my smile is different now. And my chest is growing as well – I’ve actually had to start wearing a sports bra recently, although that’s not a problem for me. They’re kinda comfy.

Also, originally I was planning to come out to the rest of my abusive conservative family, but now I think it’s best for them to just, like, find out I’m trans once I’m fully out and presenting as a girl. I think trying to come out to them is just going to be traumatizing and fruitless.
